A love-hate relationship...

…with who?

Actually not ‘who’, it’s more like ‘what’. I have a love/hate relationship with makeup! :P

After working in a hotel (as a front office intern) in the first three months of this year, I came to absolutely LOATH make-up. My skin is rather sensitive i think - I pretty much ‘destroyed’ it when i was in secondary 2 :’( but its MUCH better now, although my skin type is still oily. Anyway, putting on make-up everyday was troublesome and after 3 months, my skin seemed to deteriorate despite my best efforts to cleanse it thoroughly every night! ): And I’m someone who tends to absentmindedly touch my face, so you can imagine how torturous it was for me to consciously keep my hands away so that I would not smudge my lipstick or mascara or something else :/ I would also hate to become the kind of person who is so dependent on make-up that I can’t face people without it! >.< Which is why I don’t like make-up…or at least i THINK i don’t?

And yet, just looking at a 120 eye shadow colour palette like the one below is enough to make me go GAGA (: (:

Not that i’ll actually get this, firstly because I’m not sure of the quality (although it looks GORGEOUS, doesn’t it???!) and since I probably won’t use it (at least until i convince myself that I stand firmly on the LOVE side of this relationship ;D ). Do many people put on make-up when they go to university?? I guess i’ll find out soon enough! (:

Make-up is FUN! I like it, I really do! When I went mystery shopping sometime last week, I tried out some make-up at Benefit. Their stuff is awesome! I’ll talk about this another time though (:
