Sashimi Rice

My family LOVES sashimi. And who can say no to a simple meal of sashimi rice? (:

This is my family's version of sashimi rice, adapted from the one we love at Ichiban Sushi (my favourite japanese restaurant!!). And it is so simple to make.

We always buy sashimi from Fassler Gourmet Factory Outlet. Now, i'm sharing my secret sashimi location with all of you to enjoy! (: (: The sashimi here is a lot more affordable than if you pay the same price for a measly portion at restaurants. And with this simple recipe, you can roll in the luxury of sashimi from the comfort of your home (:

1. Cook Japanese rice (whatever amount you want)
2. Mix a few teaspoons of sesame oil into the rice after it is cooked.
3. Cut some chili padi.
4. Spread the slices of sashimi on top of your rice.
5. Sprinkle some flavouring (if you like) - I love the Futaba Furikake Shokudoraku Seasoning Mix from Fassler
6. Sprinkle the chili padi on your sashimi (if you love the kick!!)
and....EAT! :D remember the wasabi! (:

Yupp, this is my favourite japanese food at home :D
