Awfully Chocolate in the Sembawang Hills estate just underwent a revamp not to long ago. from a spartan store with a single counter selling just cakes, it has now been converted into a minimalistic cafe with an expanded menu! (:
the hei 黑 ice cream ($3.80 single scoop) is really delicious! i dont know how to describe it, but somehow the texture is slightly thicker and gooeier and the taste is simply BLISS! :D it contains a blend of Awfully Chocolate's own chocolate and Belgian dark chocolate and it is just awesomeeeeeeeee!
we also tried the white chocolate butterscotch block ($6.50 for 100g) which is a combination of white chocolate and sweet-salty butterscotch with a dark chocolate swiss roll. it was kind of too sweet in my opinion :/
but overall, love this new concept! (: it's the first of its kind!!! and i wanna eat chocolate cake soon! <3
