Mad Jack Cafe

haha okayyyyy i realised that there are quite a lot of eating places around school which i haven't tried out yet! around the prinsep/selegie area haha. now that it's the holidays, about time to check out these places! (: mad jack cafe has pretty affordable food, especially with the student meals during lunch hour xD

i ate the turkey bacon beef burger and chips, which was at a pretty affordable price of $6.45! about half the original price i think! :O the burger was quite huge! i stared at it for quite a while trying to figure out how to eat it haha. in the end, i split the burger in half - i ate the top bun with the bacon, and the bottom with the beef patty. the beef patty was surprisingly juicy! (: for such an affordable price, it was delicious. my friend commented that it looked dry, but no, it was flavourful and tender. goooooooood! then again, i was STARVING haha! and i completely drenched my burger in chili xD there was thai sweet chili! i couldnt resist :D the fries were not very good though. okay, there were two kinds of fries. one was covered in spices which was really yummy, and there was another kind, the normal one. they gave a mix of these fries to everyone, but for some reason, i only got a few pathetic pieces of the fries with spices! :( the other type in comparison, seemed completely lackluster :/ hmm, why does typing this feel like deja vu? like i seemed to have typed this before!!! haha. gosh how weird. now i'm rambling haha. if you ever find a post where i said something similar, help me link it! i wanna see haha. so funny haha.

the turkey bacon burger seemed to be a hot favourite, since 4 out of 6 of us who went there ordered it. the other two ordered the grilled chicken in black pepper sauce ($6.45). it typically comes with fries, but my friend changed his order to mushroom rice instead. looks pretty interesting huh! ;)

all the student meals come with ice lemon tea, and is served mon-fri, 11.30am-5.30pm (:
