Scrambled eggs & French Toast

so happy that holidays are here so that i've got time to cook! :) i've been trying out various types of food this time. like desserts (see my cheesecake!) and breakfast! it's such a nice feeling to cook for the people you love :D glad my family enjoys my food :))

Scrambled Eggs
Serves 4
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 tbsp butter
200ml milk
Salt, to taste
Pepper, optional
1. Beat the eggs in a large bowl.
2. Pour in the milk as you beat the eggs.

3. Heat up a frying pan and melt the butter. Pour the 3/4 of the beaten eggs into the pan and let them bubble for a minute.
4. Slowly fold in the eggs from the outside, to prevent them from getting too hard/burnt. Sprinkle the salt in and mix well.
5. When most of the egg in pan has been cooked, pour in the remaining 1/4 of beaten eggs. Repeat step 4 until all the eggs have been cooked. Remove the eggs before they start drying up!
6. Serve with pepper if you like it (:

French Toast
Serves 4
Ingredients:
4 eggs
8 slices of white bread
250ml milk
2 tsp caster sugar
75g butter
maple syrup, to serve

1. In a shallow dish, beat together the eggs, milk and sugar until combined.
2. Melt a little of the butter in a frying pan. Dip the bread slices into the egg mixture (make sure they're fully covered) and add them to the frying pan. Fry the bread slices in batches, for 2min on each side, or until golden, adding more butter for each batch. Keep the cooked slices warm while you cook the other batches.
3. Drizzle with maple syrup and serve.
tada! breakfast! :D
