doesn't the name sound funny? :P sometimes i really wonder why food establishments give themselves such whacky names haha. doesnt seem to have any link to the food at all! but then again, if the food is good, who really cares? ;) and this is exactly the case for pelican pizza! i was really surprised how good the pizzas were! they have 1-for-1 pizzas and free delivery - reasonably priced and delicious. what more could you ask for?!
we tried out two pizzas (each $32.90 for the large size, but 1-for-1), so it's really quite affordable! :) the hawaiian special has additional roasted chicken and tomatoes, on top of the cheese, turkey ham and pineapple for the normal hawaiian ($30.90 for large). the chicken was beautifully marinated and all the tastes just went together perfectly! the pizza base itself was also well flavoured, which made for a delicious combination :)
the humpty dumpty classic (such a cute, and apt, name!) had turkey ham, roasted chicken, egg, mayo and cheese. the egg kinda reminded me of those salted egg custard in chinese dim sum. it was sooooooo lovely! this was definitely a new discovery which all of us thoroughly enjoyed.
bye bye pizza hut! i think i'm a convert :D
