Neutrogena

haha i never really thought i would ever be writing about a brand like neutrogena. i've never really felt that off-the-shelf mass market facial products like these work for me. my face is, unfortunately, highly unpredictable, and i get random breakouts all the time, and over the years, i havent found a product that i've been able to use for a long long time. i guess skin changes over time as well, thats why we need to change our facial products.

i was quite pleasantly surprised by two neutrogena products i tried recently though! i just got sample sizes of them, and i really liked them! i might actually consider getting the full sized ones when i'm done using all the other facial products i've got haha. so much affordable, and they do their job pretty well! this neutrogena hydro boost water gel has a very nice light texture! it is a water gel, so it is slightly viscous (not too watery) which makes it easy to apply. and i love how it feels on my skin. it just dissolves into the skin, and makes it feel matte. which is good for combination skins like mine, because you dont want a moisturizer that makes it even more oily. the water-based ones are good because they hydrate your skin without clogging the pores.

i love how the mulberry foaming scrub smells!!!!! ^^ haha. that was the first thing that caught my attention when i used this product :p i have the grapefruit version as well, and i think that stinks. smells like detergent for washing dishes! O.o mulberry, on the other hand, gives me a very nostalgic feeling when i smell it (i still can't figure out what it reminds me of) so i guess it amplifies my liking for it ;) i also like how the beads inside aren't too rough, so i dont think they will cause those micro-scratches on your face.

both very reasonably priced, and can be found in most supermarkets! :)
