The Choice

omgomgomg nicholas sparks is really the best author ever :') every single book of his that i've read has the impossible ability to reduce me to tears. it's like there is always some sort of twist and turn, and yet it is so real that it's simply so touching :) for quite a lot of his books that i've read, i thought he always ended his stories so tragically. for this one, it was a happy ending (sorry for the spoiler! :P if you dont want to know, dont read the rest of this post, but GO READ THE BOOK PLEASE!!) but even then the tumultuous emotional rollercoster it brings you on just brings tears to your eyes anyway. when you hear the good news, it is as if it's hearing about the most important person in your life, waking up, when you previously had almost no hope of that happening. i honestly dont know how to describe the feeling (if only i was as good a writer), but it's just an amazing sense of joy and fear and a whole string of other emotions mashed together when you read the book.

and the way nicholas sparks describes love is so so SO beautiful :') when you read his books, you will completely admire the love between his couples :) if you don't love that way, it actually makes you think twice. if you do, it just makes your heart swell even more :') i know i'm putting a lot of smileys here haha because i really feel so happy reading his books, even if it makes me shed a million tears. it's too beautiful already!! and i really feel that reading his books has taught me a lot about love. some people used to tell me that it is always better to be in a relationship where the other party loves you more. but then i thought, why would that be the case? if you don't love your boyfriend/girlfriend as much, how do you ever fully enjoy the relationship? if it's all about calculating who loves the other more, i don't think that's love. love is giving your heart totally, fully, completely. even not knowing where the future lies, giving your loved one your all brings immeasurable, undescribable happiness. i suppose i do sound like i'm in love with the idea of being in love :P someone told me that before. and i think that it's true.

but then again, being loved is the best thing that can ever happen to you. and giving more, only means opening your heart to receiving love as well. that's what nicholas sparks stories say too. it's that kind of deep, passionate, sweet, funny, happy love that is so beautiful and touching to read about :) and experience :) only if you're willing to give your love <3
