okay, i've come to a revelation. look at the title of this post. I.Can't.Survive.Without.The.Internet. Doesn't this sound rather sad? I'm sure i am not the only one. And it does say a lot about my generation, doesn't it?
For the past two days, my internet broke down. I have no idea why, but i can only say that i am absolutely annoyed with Singtel's Mio. Ever since my family subscribed to this service, my home phone and internet have broken down countless times, and every time i call the hotline to get it fixed, i feel like killing the person on the other end of the line. okay, i know it's not their fault, but seriously, if this problem happens a few times a month, doesn't it warrant some anger?! each time i call i have to go through a whole few minutes with the automated response machine, before i can finally speak to a human, and it always winds up that the problem cannot be fixed over the phone and i'll have to wait a few days for the technician to come and fix it. and half the time, even the technician can't fix the problem (especially when the problem lies with my phone). WHAT IS THIS?!
so anyway, my internet broke down. and had i not scheduled a couple of posts, i would have been completely MIA from here. the internet chose a very bad time to breakdown. :/ i had to had in a project yesterday and i was flooded by emails by my groupmates which i had no access to. gosh. and the internet is my source of entertainment!!!! honestly i have no idea how much of my day is actually devoted to the internet. as long as it's there, i have the tendency to gravitate towards it. i actually said that if i wanted to study properly, i would have to disconnect my computer from the internet. and ba-da-bing! my internet really broke down -.- i take my words back. I can't survive without the internet. even though my internet broke down, i spent half my time gained trying to get it fixed and worrying about whether it'll be fixed or not. so, even though i thought i can supposedly study better without the internet, i reject that null hypothesis (haha this is the result from me studying statistics). It's far too precious to lose (:
