Taste of Thailand

At the expense of my beauty sleep, here i am to post in my poor dying blog :P argh i've been so uber busy over the past few days, i've really hardly had the time to come here. please do drop by to visit once in awhile though! :D i need my site stats to keep me motivated to post haha. keep the comments coming as well! (: a big thank you to all those who visit my blog!

Well okay, enough of thank-yous. i better get started so that i can sleeeeeeeeeeep! so super tired. i'll blog about the reason for my tiredness soon i hope! it's for a good reason xD anyways, yesterday had dinner at Taste of Thailand. it's my favourite place for thai food! it's yummy, it's affordable, and the food is served really fast. my family is always out of the restaurant in 20minutes because they serve the food so fast, and it tastes so good that we cannot help but shovel it down our throats. no matter how much we try to slow down, we just can't help it!

mmm my absolute favourite pineapple fried rice ($8 large). this dish is one that can probably never go wrong ( i MUST try to cook this someday!) and with the pork floss scattered on top, it's just absolutely lovely.

the chicken with lemon sauce ($6) is tender with a crispy crunchy skin. the tangy lemon sauce is a delight (:

the deep fried cuttlefish ($6) is one sinful dish which i cannot resist. this is similar to deep fried calamari, but better!!! :D each piece is chewy, and coated with a crispy, crackly cover, it is so yummy!

hot, sour, spicy! tom yam soup ($3) is a MUST when you eat thai food! the robust flavour of this soup makes it oh-so-appetizing, and i love to drizzle it over my rice and other dishes, just to give them that extra KICK!

the kang kong with belachan ($4) is one of the best i've eaten. not killing-ly spicy, but enough to tickle the tastebuds, it adds a not-so-subtle spice when eaten with the pineapple rice.

the sliced fish with honey sauce ($6) is definitely one of my favourite fish dishes ever! each soft piece of fish is slathered with a generous amount of mildly sweet honey. heavenly (:

okie, need to go sleep now!!!!! nighty night!
