Scoopz

*squeals!!!!* there are so many new ice-cream places popping up all over the place! i'm never going to finish trying them all! xP haha. scoopz just opened along upper thomson road not too long ago! (: i think it's the second outlet, no idea where is the other one though!

i went there because i had a discount coupon! lol :P haha poor student must find a way to save moneyyyy (for shopping xD haha). it's so hard to prioritize isnt it? haha. anyways, back to scoopz! they do handmade ice cream, as well as other stuff like waffles, etc! i only tried the ice cream though ($2.90 for one scoop). the good thing is it's the same price for  the cone and the cup versions! i dunno why there always seems to be price discrimination for the two, so this is definitely something good! (: and for $2.90, the portion is really quite generous! look at the photo! (sorry a bit blur - i was getting too excited cos i had to quickly take the photo before the ice cream started dripping down the cone >.<). and the picture was taken after we had licked off quite a bit of the ice cream, so serving size is not bad right!

clockwise from from bottom left: chocolate, rum, lemon, green tea, and the one in the centre is apple cinnamon! (: one downside of this place is that the flavours available are quite limited. compared with the other ice-cream parlours with such fun flavours to chose from, this one definitely pales in comparison. the most interesting one would probably be the apple cinnamon? which mummy said was lacking in flavour. but the upside is that they do the original flavours well! (: I LOVED THE CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM!!!! <3 i haven't eaten simple chocolate ice cream for the longest time. and it was GOOD. (: creamy and luscious. yummy! and the ice cream cone was really crunchy and thick! value for money? haha.

overall, an affordable and cosy place for ice-cream in the neighbourhood! :D
